awww! you're wearing the earrings I bought you! yay! :) I'm kind of with your sister in that I'm trying to feel bad for you but it really isn't working. Regardless, I hope you had a good Christmas, as good as can be expected away from family. So how are you ringing in o ano novo? Com o seu ficante? :)

whatever kara, first of all i can't help my natural highlights, and second, you're far too big for that skirt now. or possibly i just figured since it's SNOWing there you're not gonna get much use out of it.

davey, funny you should ask that.
i asked the same thing, and was told no, not at this time of the year. So i'm floating around in the water, because it's very shallow and calm, when i see this strange pink thing floating about 100ft away.
"oh, that's just a water bottle" my friend tells me.
"Are you sure? It's pink," I reply.
It floats closer to the shore, and I am 100% sure it's not a water bottle by this point.
One of the guys I was there with then goes down to the water, grabs it with his bare hands, and pulls it out of the water. I guess you can touch any part but the tentacles/legs. So I actually overcame my fear and touched it; it was very neat feeling. And pretty, pink and purple. Then he popped it and buried it in the sand.

Amy, thanks for the almost pity, and vamos falar de ficantes no email.

we missed you at Christmas as well but now it's time to think about the New Year. I read in a magazine (while getting my hair done) that the way they usher in the New Year in Rio (Brazil?) is to wear white (preferably a white bikini) because after sundown you go into the water and jump seven waves then throw flowers into the sea as an offering to Yemanja, the goddess of the seas!
I think this should be your next picture posting!
Happy New Year!
